Oxford Chase announces new projects

Oxford Chase Development, Inc. is currently developing a 9,100 sf Dollar General in Berlin, Maryland. The new location for Dollar General is 105 Decatur St., on the corner of Assateague Road & Rt. 113. Turnover to Dollar General is set for September, 2016. In addition to the Berlin, Maryland store, Oxford Chase consulted with Spiro Buas of Buas Enterprises in the construction of a 9,100 sf Dollar General in the Ocean Pines area of Berlin, Maryland. The store is located at 11234 Cathell Drive, Berlin, Maryland. This location opened in June, 2016.
Dollar General has also signed leases with Oxford Chase Development for new stores in Upper Marlboro, Worton, Fruitland and Westover, Maryland and one in Harbeson, Delaware. All are in the Due Diligence phase of development.
In other news, Oxford Chase Development has donated excess land behind the Dollar General in Seaford, Delaware to A.C.E. Peer Resource Center to use as a community garden. Along with The Spade & Trowel Garden Club, A.C.E. received many donated items as well as volunteer help from the residents at A.C.E. and the Spade & Trowel Club in preparing the land, planting the seeds, tending to the garden and finally harvesting. The food is then used at A.C.E. for meals for the residents.
A.C.E. Peer Resource Center is a nonprofit center that assists people housing, employment, addiction counseling and many other resources to help the community’s neediest get back on their feet.
