(August 2019) Ribbon Cutting for the new AT&T Store located at Unit 105 in The Pocomoke Marketplace. It was attended by AT&T Employees, Community Members and the Mayor and a Council Member of Pocomoke City.
(May 2020) What’s new with Oxford Chase Development…In 2019 we delivered two Dollar Generals, one in Dover DE, located at 63 Winding Creek Road and we relocated a store in Salisbury from one hidden back in a strip center to a free standing 9,100 sf stand-alone store across the street. This is located @6400 Kenney Drive, Salisbury, Maryland. In February of 2020, we opened a store in East New Market, Maryland located at 5905 Mt. Holly Road, East New Market, Maryland.
To say the least, 2020 has been an interesting year. No one was prepared for the COVID-19 pandemic hitting the USA as well as the entire world. Although there were some challenges due to mandated state closures, construction is considered essential so Oxford Chase Development, Inc., met these challenges head on. State offices had closures, but that didn’t stop Howard Crossan, President of Oxford Chase Development from traveling up and down the Eastern Shore and hand delivering documents and plans for approvals and signatures and getting documents and plans recorded all in an effort to keep our reputation of delivering our projects on time.
In May, 2020, we will be breaking ground on a new 9,100 SF Dollar General located at 13730 Greensboro Rd, Greensboro, Maryland and although we aren’t scheduled to deliver a new Dollar General in Marion Station, Maryland until May, 2021, there’s a good chance we’ll be breaking ground on this one during the summer of 2020 delivering this location about 5 months before schedule. There are many communities that are considered underserved with little or no access to necessities in their area. A store in Marion Station, Maryland will serve this area well and give the area residents access to affordable and necessary grocery and household items.
